Standard features of Pedini kitchens include green construction techniques & cabinetry materials that won't absorb humidity, rubber dust-seals on every door and drawer opening, stainless steel drawer boxes and slides, Blum soft-close hardware, and elevated installation on feet that are covered by a toe kick. Innovative Design

Among Pedini's trademark innovations include radius doors (concave and convex) and curved islands, as well as technological innovations such as Pegaso door pantry cabinets. Breakthroughs such as cantilevered Stainless Steel counters paired with commercial quality appliances are only a few of the reasons Pedini has received international praise when each new design debuts at EuroCucina, Italy's most exclusive european furniture fair, held bi-annually in Milan.

 

Certified Ecological Furniture Panels
Many people ask us "What is ecological furniture?" It is quite difficult to distinguish ecological furniture at a first glance, because there is no difference compared to furniture made of solid wood. Furniture that is defined as ecological is made of sustainable materials, also known as "green", renewable, or "environmentally friendly". Pedini cabinetry has the distinction of being a member of the Italian Ecological Panel, and all Pedini kitchen cabinets & bath cabinets bear the stamp of the Pannello Ecologico, the actual trademark that proves that the furniture is ecologically made. Presently, only furniture bearing the Ecological Panel trademark is made 100% with recycled wood, using exclusively eco-compatible materials and a production process of certified quality without harming the environment.

Pedini's modern minimalist design is not lacking in finish and material options.



· Lacquer finishes include High Gloss (glossy), Opaque (matte), and MicroSphere (textured) in a variety of standard colors that integrate perfectly together and with our other finishes. Custom colors are no problem -- all the designer or client has to do is specify a particular color, or send in a color sample to have cabinetry produced in the desired custom color.

· Wood veneer species are available in natural European Cherry, Beech (similar coloring to natural Maple), Ebano (Ebony) Zebrano (Zebra Wood), Teak, and Rift Cut White Oak in a variety of colors including Moro, Gray, Silver, and Natural.

·Stainless Steel cabinets are also available, in either a Stainless Steel veneer cabinet door, or Stainless Steel construction - inside and out - steel cabinet doors, steel cabinet box, steel drawers, and solid steel drawer glides are all made of high quality Stainless Steel throughout.

· Alpikord is another popular option -- Alpikord is an ecofriendly material from Europe composed of a wood veneer fused to an industrial strength grade of laminate. Alpikord finishes are available in a wide variety of wood species and finishes, and allow for a wide range of design possibilities for projects with a more reserved cabinet budget that requires pricing flexibility. Laminate cabinets are also available, and are commonly used in high traffic areas like laundry rooms, guest homes, and Ohana units.

·Laminates are available in a wide variety of colors and in both matte and high gloss finishes, as well as simulated wood species including Wenge, Oak, and Cherry laminate.

·Other finishes include one of our most exciting finishes available: Glass Veneer -- cabinets that are composed of tempered glass panel doors give a luminous quality to any kitchen or bath, and the variety of colors introduced this year gives Susan Palmer Designs' clients multiple color schemes to choose from.

Everything + the Kitchen Sink!

Cabinets, countertops, accessories, faucets, fixtures, appliances, lighting, tables, chairs, and silverware are just some of the product offering features that set Pedini apart from other cabinet manufacturers. Pedini is able to provide custom fabricated counters tailored to the individual kitchen composition. With choices of Granite, Stainless Steel, Glass, Solid Surface, Laminate, and Marble, the design possibilities are endless and installation is a breeze, since cabinets and the made-to-fit counters arrive together in the same container.
Plumbing fixtures such as Gessi faucets and Franke sinks can be integrated into steel or solid surface counters, or easily installed onsite during countertop fabrication in Hawaii. Ready-to-accept cabinets are designed based on chosen appliance specifications without the need for jobsite modification and tedious installation commonly associated with kitchen appliance installs. Lighting integrated into cabinets, or sent to accompany, allows the job to install smoothly and quickly without the downtime spent waiting on items to arrive locally from outsourced distributors.


Inserts such as silverware, cutlery, cookware, and cutting boards fit right into drawers -- and include the utensils too! Accessories for the kitchen such as backsplash rail systems with shelving place most needed cooking, prep, and cleaning items off the counter and easily at reach. Pull-out trash cans and recycling bins in cabinets offer convenience to our satisfied clients. Tables, chairs, and barstools complete our design with Pedini's Italian style of modern and contemporary furniture.

 

Celebrity Style Meets Fashion-Forward Design in the Kitchen

Pedini kitchens have graced the homes of some of the most style forward celebrities and fashion industry icons around the world. Now, with Pedini teaming with Lamborghini on a new concept kitchen, Pedini is posed to take over the world of design again with their revolutionary Lamborghini Kitchen, set for production to begin in 2011. Susan Palmer Designs has received a lot of interest in this new concept kitchen, which includes Lamborghini hand-tooled leather. Although still in the concept stage, this kitchen is available to a select few only on a pre-production basis, and we are happy to be one of the only kitchen designers able to offer this exclusive kitchen design to our clients in the Pacific Rim.
